MEET OUR FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
CHRISTOPHER OBIOMA CYPRIAN NZE (COMMANDER C.O.C Nze)
A pioneer member of Nigerian Air force Band joined the NAF in 1971 on a special Enlistment, while in the Nigerian Air force I formed a band called the Great Heroes of Africa and released our first Album titled “Lele Akanyi meaning “See our hands, our hands are clean”.
Subsequently we produced other three albums before the group collapsed. In 1977 I was among the artistes that represented Nigeria in Festac 77 in the Drama Presentation and also in Music Presentation, we were playing music everyday for the visitors in various location in Festac Village then.
In 1980, I left the Nigeria Airforce voluntarily and went into Professional Entertainment. I formed my own band known as Commander C.O.C. Nze and the Stars International Band. I recorded the following musical albums – Ogechi, Okpaku Sakisima, Our Choruses, Achike Udenwa, United Artistes for Jonathan, Enyi Alaala.
In the Movie Sector, I am a Pioneer member of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and an independent producer and I have produced 25 films among them are the following – Power Over Fate, Prodigal Flock, Back from the Wild Next King, Oh Test and See, Eze Ozo, Documentary Film on the life and time of Anthony Cardinal Okogie currently produces a skit on Youtube called African Proverbs with C.O.C. Nze.
I am a Pioneer member of the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) also a member of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), member of Audio Visual Regulatory Society (AVRS). Immediate Past National President of Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN) for twelve years. B. O. T member Anyaigbo Global Film Makers, B.O.T. member and President of Igbo Actors Development Organization (IGADO) Lagos.
Am also the founder and President of African Christian Movies/Music Awards (ACMA) which is a continental none denominational award platform whose main objective is promoting evangelism and ecumenism through Entertainment.
I have acted in more than two hundred films – some of the ones I could remember are – The Return from Europe, Africa Richest Man, Africa Tallest Man, False Alarm, Stupid Village Destroyer, Last Vote, Selfish, More Money, Blood of a Virgin, Prodigal Flock, Back from the Wild, Next King, Ala-Anyiah – Eze Ozo.
Am also a farmer, I have Palm plantations in my home town in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Happily married to one wife with children and many grand children.
